Amazon Deal: Real Techniques Core Collection Kit

Just a quick post to let you guys know that Amazon at the moment have the Real Techniques Core Collection Kit available for £13.25. That’s the cheapest I’ve personally seen it anywhere (RRP £20.99) so if you’ve been waiting for the price to drop I think this is as good as it’s gonna get!

The kit contains a detailer brush which can be used to apply concealer, a pointed foundation brush which helps to build up liquid foundation coverage, a buffing brush which can be used to set your foundation with a translucent powder or just to buff the edges of your foundation to avoid any tell tale signs around the hairline and finally a contour brush which helps to create definition with bronzer or blush on the cheeks.

What I’m curious of is what you guys would like to recieve if you were to win? Things that come to mind were a Benefits product or an Urban Decay Palette… I’d love to hear from you guys about what you think would make a great gift!

The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub Review

I brought this in my Body Shop Haul. I’ve never really been much for salt scrubs, but since I had to make my money up to get the discount I thought I would give this a try.

This salt scrub is inspired by African tribal spa rituals. It moisturises as it exfoliates

Massage onto wet skin in the bath or shower. Rinse thoroughly.

I love the packaging of this. It’s so cute and reusable, and the tub is so big at 350ml, it’s going to last me forever! It says to massage onto wet skin, but I think it works better on dry skin. Not totally dry but I find that it doesn’t work as well if your skin is soaked. When I used it on wet skin it just seemed to disappear and it just seemed really pointless. It smells great and the texture is amazing. It’s not too rough on your skin and the cream in the scrub really moisturises. Left my skin so soft and polished.

I think this is a little bit expensive at £15. Saying that, you do get alot and I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I feel like I have used hardly any. The Body Shop always have offers on, which is only when I really buy from them to be honest, so you can always get a good deal of things that you think are a bit expensive. The benefits of this scrub are amazing, as long as you use it on dry skin. It’s pretty pointless on wet skin. I have no idea why they tell you to use in wet skin.

You can check out this item on The Body Shop website here.

Have you used this salt scrub? What did you think? Do you use any other salt scrubs? Anything you can recommend? Let me know!

This hair mask locks in moisture from root to tip and helps restore damaged hair. Nourish hair with this intensive 3-minute ultra-moisturizing weekly treatment.

Alot of claims! Let’s see if it holds up!

Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray

What attracted me to this was the packaging. I am a bit of a packaging junkie… I’ll admit. I like to use this before I go out on a night when I haven’t got time for cream to dry.

Nail Expert Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray

I’ve brought this quite a few times now and it’s really handy when your in a bit of a hurry if the shade you picked isn’t the fastest drying. Full review is available here.

Mega Effects Liquid Eyeliner

This was a new product in this campaign. I always love to try out a new product if it interests me and this one really does. Avon claims..

This black liquid liner creates an intense black line for a high impact look. Ergonomic grip and slanted tip for easy application. Goes on smoothly without pulling. Water resistant, all day wear.

The shape of the head really interests me and I’m excited to give it a go.

Ultra Colour Matte Lipstick

The shade i picked is Matte Blossom. I have another shade of this is nude. I did a full review of it here. It’s a really great lipstick and people are really loving it in the blogging world!

It’s a lovely suttle pink shade, I can’t wait to try it out!

MagiX Multi Benefit Illuminator

I’m nearly out of my current cover up stick so this one came just in time! This liquid highlighter is formulated with special light reflecting particles to give skin a radiant and illuminated appearance. With HD Finish Complex to blur the appearance of pores, lines and imperfections.

So that’s everything! My order cane to around £24 which is amazing for what you actually get. I love Avon because you get quality products at such a low price. I’ll be posting reviews of these items when I’ve had some good use out of them.

What did you order this campaign form avon? Anything I picked? Let me know!
