My Festival Face!

Evening beauties! Haven’t missed me too much have you? If you didn’t know I’ve been to reading festival! So I’m back, and fully recovered! Took me a while to get over it, but I’m all rested and washed! So I though I would shade with you my Festival make up.

Avon BB cream was a must. It has SPF15 and covered those imperfections when a full coverage foundation is just too much in the sun!

Maybelline baby soft instant pore eraser kept my BB cream in place while filling my pores. Review of this item is available here

Max Factor Concealer helped me cover those blemishes and my dark under eyes from lack of sleep that the BB cream just wouldn’t cover!

Rimmel London professional eyebrow pencil is a must where ever I go! Need to keep those brows in check!

Revolution Eyeshadow palette was a bit overkill to be honest with the Eyeshadow… But I was so desperate to try it out, and I wasn’t dissapointed!

Astor BIG and Beautiful Boom mascara was amazing! Only needed one coat and my eyelashes looked awesome. So glad I took this.

Avon Make Up Setting Spray kept my make up in place and prevented me from sweating it off!

And this was my look for the weekend! Nice and simple. Hope you have all been well while I’ve been away!

What’s in my make up bag!

Hello beauties! Sorry for the couple of days radio silence again, I’ve had a major tooth ache and the antibiotics I’ve been on for it have totally knocked me about recently! But I feel much better today, I’m able to eat now without getting a horrible stomach ache after, win! Let’s get cracking then shall we?

A couple of these items have been in my make up bag a while now, and some are new additions. This is the stuff I wear everyday.

Avons Super Shock Gel Eyeliner

I’ve been using this Eyeliner for as long as I can remember. It lasts all day and doesn’t transfer. This usually lasts me a good couple of months! I love the gel like Formula, it makes it easier to achieve my cat flicks! Where as kohl pencils always seemed a bit of a faf!

Revlon Photoready Primer, Shadow and Sparkle Palette

I did a review on this when I first brought it here. To be honest, when I first used it I wasn’t overly impressed. Especially with the powder primer and the sparkle shadow (which you can see I’ve hardly used, bottom right is the sparkle powder!) I do however like the Base and crease shadows. The thing that let’s it down is the highlight shadow and that primer. But I’ve continued to use it, mostly because I hate waste and it’s quick to do in the morning!

L’Oréal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara

I did a full review on this item here. I’ve been loving this mascara. It separates my lashes well, I only really need one coat so it doesn’t go brittle. Just an all round mascara! Love the brush too! Makes it so easy to use!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder.

I did a full review on this item here. I’ve been loving this powder. It keeps shine at bay, lasts all day considering it’s a drugstore powder. Cheap and chips too! Can’t really knock it!

Rimmel London Professional Eyeshadow Pencil

I did a full review on this item here. This has been in my make up bag for some time now. I’ve never really been one for the powder eyebrow definers, but I’ve always been happy with this. Not everyone likes it, but I’ve always loved it. The little brush is handy too to make your brows look natural.

Absolute New York Eyeshadow Primer

I recently did a review of this item here. This is a new addition to my make up bag and I’m really loving it. The formula is really creamy, although I don’t really like the application of this, it’s easy to smooth out with a quick dab. It’s really effective and makes my shadow last all day without creasing.

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer

I haven’t been using this long, but i do like it. I don’t think it’s as good as the Benefits POREfessional primer, but it’s great for the mean time till I can get get another. My make up lasts all day, but it doesn’t fill my pores like the benefit primer! Review is available here

Max Factor All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation

And last, but certainly not least. This is my second bottle of this foundation. I did a full review of this here. I’m completely in love with this foundation. It’s hard for me to stick to a foundation, but this if the first one in a while I’ve repurchased. It’s affordable  and long lasting. It is a medium coverage, but can be built up easily for a full coverage. The bottle lasted me around 3 months, which is good for me!

So that’s my make up bag! Id love to see what’s in yours! Do you use any of the same products as me? What do you think? Let me know!
