Glossybox May First Impressions

Hello beauties! I realise I’m a bit late with this one.. But better late then never!

This month’s box is about festive chic,so they’ve boxed all the essentials you need to prep for the balmy days ahead.

MeMeMe Enhanced Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand

Introducing MeMeMe’s NEW, catwalk and trend-inspired dual ended eye cream wand. Designed with a two toned colour feature comprising of two complimenting shades for an effortless, quick and high impact application. It’s never been easier to create multi-tonal looks, in an instant.

I’m not one to experiment with coloured eyeshadow, but blue is a colour I have used before. I love that it is two toned so you can be creative with it.

The shade is called midnight storm. This is how the colours look. It’s very creamy so it’s easily blended. I’m looking forward to trying this out! This is a full sized pencil worth £6.95

Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel

Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel comes with Liposomes. Especially smoothing moisturizing gel free of fat, tightening and reviving the skin. Elasticity will be improved considerably. Etre belle is one of the few privately-managed companies of its size in the German cosmetic landscape. The Company was founded by Harry Emich more than 30 years ago, and is headquartered in the Stuttgart region, in the Southern part of Germany.

This is going to be great to use after being out in the sun. I’m constantly getting burnt being so pale, so this cooling gel is going to be great for those days spent outside! This is a full sized 40ml tube worth £15.93 which is how much the box is worth!

Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam

Zerreau is a brand new concept in hair washing, allowing you to wash your hair properly but with absolutely no water required. It really cleans effectively, even removing product such as hairspray, wax or gels. Leaving you with soft clean lushious locks! Zerreau is NOT a leave in product and its NOT a dry shampoo either!

This is going to be very popular with festival goers. There is only so many times you can cover your hair in dry shampoo! I love the idea, but I have used it once and I’m not totally sure I used it right, so I’m going to give it another go before making my mind up and doing some research. This is a 70ml sample. Full size is 100ml worth £6.99

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate has been created for women who live their life at 100%. The exfoliating Salicyclic Acid and the Fruit Enzymes help prevent ingrown hairs. The Aloe Vera soothes and hydrates, whilst the Kelisoft helps to minimise hair regrowth. A perfect mix for the perfect skin.

Product Promise

Prevent ingrown hairs
Reduce hair regrowth
Soothe post-shave

I’ve never has a problem with ingrown hairs, but I am interested in its reduced hair regrowth claims. I’ve seen this advertised lately so I’m glad I’ve received it in this month’s box! This is a 30ml sample. Full size is 100ml worth £12

Collection Cosmetics Field Day Lipstick

Step into spring with a slick on trend pastel pink across your lips, courtesy of Collections new Field Day range. With a beautiful matte finish, it’s the perfect way to update your look in seconds.

I’ve been wearing alot of pinks in the day lately so this is a welcomes addition to my collection. Though I am stepping back from matte shades, I prefer creamier shades in the summer because my lips get so dry. This shade is called Pink rose and is a full sized lipstick worth £2.99

I’m very happy with this month’s box! I would absolutely use everything. From the full sized items they all tally up to over £25 which is great value. Last months box I wasnt too excited about and everything I got didn’t get my all excited. They have won me over again! I guess every month can’t be amazing eh?

October Glossybox First Impressions

Hello beauties! So this month’s glossybox is finally here. This month’s box comes presented in an Andy Warhol inspired POP ART box! I love pop art. It’s so fun. I can’t possibly throw this box into the recycling.

I have so many boxes cluttering up my room at the moment because they are too pretty to throw away, but i feel i must throw away the normal pink ones and just keep the extra special ones… Don’t want to be some sort of box hoarder… So let’s crack on to what I received this month 🙂

Nuxe Creme Fraiche De Beaute Mask

A 24hr moisturising mask which hydrates and soothes the skin, instantly reducing discomfort or redness. Skin is left looking radiant and relaxed.

I’ve actually never heard of this brand before. But this is what beauty subscription are all about.. Learning about new products! It’s a full sized 50ml item worth £19.50! I’ve made my money back from just this item! The formula of this cream is quite light, which is good because it soaks into your skin quickly. It doesn’t smell of anything, but I guess it’s better then smelling horrible. Some creams that add fragrances can irritate skin. It’s advertised for all skin types. It’s enriched with almond and orange white flowers. As we all know, almond is awesome for your skin.

Etre Belle Cosmetics Liplift Peel

Get replenished and defined lips in an instant with this moisturising lip exfoliator. The gentle formula removes dead cells refining the skin’s surface for perfectly soft lips.

I can’t say I’ve ever used a lip exfoliator ever, but as it’s getting colder now, something like this is perfect. This is a German product which is why I’ve never heard of it before. It has tiny tiny exfoliating breads to buff away your chapped skin on your lips. This is actually a full sized 15ml sample worth €12.95. I’m looking forward to trying this out!

So Susan Cosmetics Flutter Mascara

An intense carbon-black mascara formulated with hyaluronic spheres to help you achieve the darkest, curviest lashes possible.

We’ve all heard of So Susan, but the last item I received from glossybox was the So Susan Concealer Quad which I was so dissapointed with. I’m hoping this will work out better. I have so many maracas to get though, and I just brought two more it’s gonna take me a while to get around to this one. The first thing I noticed when popping the lid off was how small the wand is.. And then secondly how watery the formula is. It was actually stringing from the wand when I opened it up. I hope it dries quickly or it will be another So Susan product I’m dissapointed with. This is a full sized item worth £14.95

Ciaté London Paint Pot

Enjoy a pop of colour with Ciaté’s stunningly beautiful and intensely pigmented Paint Pot. Part of a range currently boasting 88 head-turning and trend-setting shades.

Im always going to be happy when I receive a Ciaté Paint Pot. I actually got out an old black the other week that had seen better days, so I was actually in the market for another black! Glossybox, you read my mind! These pots can be expensive at £9 for a 13.5ml pot, but they are so worth it.

Yves Roche France Quelques Notes D’Amour

This scent encapsulates the feeling of falling in love through fusing notes of damascus rose, guaiac wood and patchouli.

Unfortunately, my sample of perfume had leaked all into my box. Which is a shame, because when I first started to open it up, I thought i could smell something gorgeous! I’ve emailed glossybox though and I’m waiting to hear back from then for a replacement. The only thing that annoys be about these perfumes in the little jars is.. How the hell do you apply them without being overloaded with product? I was looking on Amazon, because you can find anything on Amazon! And they do these little refillable perfume holders.. So you can carry around your favourite perfume without it weighing down your bag. If I get sent another sample, I’ll be sure to get one of those!

Rimelle London BB Cream Matte

This multitasking 9-in-1 skin perfecting makeup cream with a natural formula contains kaolin, witch hazel and salicylic acid for a flawless matte look.

I don’t really use BB or CC creams alot to be honest. I have freckles so I prefer a fuller coverage. The only time I’ve ever really used these sorts of cream foundations is when I’m at festivals and just want my face to look fresh and not overly done. So basically in the summer. I can’t see me using this until next summer to be frank.

So that’s my box for this month! I was actually looking to unsubscribe from glossybox and try out another box, but I forgot with how busy I’ve been lately but I’m glad I didn’t. I think after finishing my surveys on this month’s box I’ll have enough for a free box! I’m backwards and forwards about carrying on with glossybox.. I know as soon as I unsubscribe I’ll see all your posts about what you got and be super jealous!

If you’re interested in subscribing to glossybox if you could use my referal link I get 200 glossybox points for every referal!

What did you get in this month’s box? Anything you wished you had got? Have you tried any if the products I’ve received? Let me know!
