Birchbox July First Impressions

Hello beauties! So this month’s Birchbox surprised me a bit! It came in a red envelope. I thought to myself “did I forgot I ordered something!” and to my surprise it was my Birchbox! Minus the box… So a Birchbag!

image

This month’s goodies came in a splash proof clutch which is ideal to take with you on holiday poolside to keep all your essentials safe and dry! So lets get on to what was inside the Birchbag!

Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream

image

Restore softness to neglected hands with our moisturising hand cream.
Our Cow Pat Hand Cream restores softness to the hands with the finest quality Shea and Cocoa Butters to deeply moisturise and tone the skin. Refreshingly scented and quickly absorbed,  Grapefruit Oil tones whilst Coriander Oil kick starts your circulation.

I love it whenever I get sent cowshed products! This moisturiser is so nice. It soaks into your skin so quickly which is amazing, and it smells pretty good too! The cream is quite thick which is nice, which helps with the drying time. I hate it when creams are thick because I hate waiting around for them to dry. It’s a pretty good 50ml sample size too! I though it was full size until I checked out and the actual full size is 30ml which retails at £18! Seems like alot (size wise not price!) .. But it’s that good I’d probably get through it quickly!

Balance Me Congested Skin Serum

image

This calming, anti-blemish treatment contains soothing Roman chamomile, anti-bacterial may chang, calming lavender and eucalyptus in a light, non-greasy petroleum free gel. This instant treatment benefits from super soothing and cooling organic aloe vera and spruce knot to calm redness as soon as a blemish begins to show and kanuka essential oil to eliminate congestion with its gentle but powerful anti-microbial properties. Apply all over the face or directly onto a blemish to prevent and treat problem areas without drying the skin.

I’ve received quite a few Balance Me products while having these beauty boxes, and to be honest I’ve never really been blown away by anything, but this is something I haven’t tried, where as I’ve had quite a few of their eye creams which I was getting bored of! I love anything with Aloe Vera, it’s so good for your skin. The cream is very thin as you would expect a serum to be! It smells amazing. It’s packed with Chamomile, Lavender and Aloe Vera, no wonder it smells gorgeous! This is a 7ml sample size. Full size is 15ml worth £16.

Unani Aloe Vera Gel

image

We’re sticklers about wearing sunscreen – but that doesn’t mean we don’t end up with a sunburn from time to time. That’s when we turn to this ultra-hydrating lotion, packed with pure aloe vera to soothe and calm our skin. It’s naturally healing properties, and non-irritating formula, means that our sunburned skin can feel better and recover soon – plus, it’s great for other sore spots (like blemishes, eczema, and bites) as well!

I needed this last week! I burnt my next while doing some gardening. I’m usually very good with sun cream, cause I’m so pale my catch the sun so quickly, I douce myself in factor 50. But I completely forgot about my neck. This would of been amazing. But hopefully we will get more sun and I’ll be able to use this.. But at the same don’t I don’t really want to get burnt.. But Aloe Vera is great for break outs too if we don’t get any more sun! It’s a clear gel which actually doesn’t smell that much of Aloe Vera! Unless it’s just my nose, I never had the best sense of smell! This is a 30ml sample size. Not sure what the full size is, but it’s £15!

POP Beauty Eyeshadow Trio in Peach Parfait

image

image

Master your summer smokey eyes with this nifty palette. Blend all three silky shades for a perfectly pretty look or apply just your favourite for a subtle wash if colour.

I’m pretty sure this is an American brand, which annoys me because if I really like it, I can’t get any more! Without paying stupid postage obviously… But for now I’m pretty happy with this little palette. It’s nude shades which is totally me. This will definitely get some use and I’m bored of my current palettes!

Benefit Cosmetics Dream Screen

image

You can’t feel it, you can’t see it…but it’s got you totally covered. Dream screen broad spectrum SPF 45 silky-matte sunscreen is ultra lightweight and truly invisible on skin. It absorbs instantly to help prevent skin from aging by protecting against sun damage…and leaves skin feeling moisturised. Dream screen puts all other sunscreens in the shade! Oil-free. Fragrance free.

This is great for me because I need sun screen for my face because my nose burns so quickly! SPF 45 is brilliant too. I was actually looking the other day for face sun screens because I don’t actually have one…i usually just put normal stuff on which isn’t great when some are so greasy! So this is perfect for me to try out! This is a 6ml sample. Full size is 45ml worth £25.

Bonus Beauty Extra!

Barely Prep, Blot & Blend Sponge

image

Modernising make-up application is the ambition of new beauty brand Barely. And they’ve achieved it with their revolutionary range of sponges for everything from moisturiser to eye make-up. Barely, Prep, Blot & Blend Sponge is latex free, non-allergenic and odour free making it ideal for sensitive skin. Use Barely Prep, Blot & Blend Sponge to prepare skin before make-up to apply make-up remover, skincare and primer. The ovoid sponge has no edges in order to allow for products to be stippled on, leaving no lines or streaks. The pointed end can be used to apply concealer and to reach the nooks of the face such as the corners of the nose and inner corners of the eyes.

I haven’t had a sponge since my Beauty Blender was rendered useless (RIP beauty blender!) so I’m excited to try this out. I’ve actually never heard of Barley so this is a new brand I can look into. This is a full sized sponge worth £6

I’m quite happy with this lot to be honest. I’ll get use out of everything which is why we use these subscriptions! A few if the products are things I either actually need or was thinking about getting anymore, which is amazing? Are Birchbox spying on me? One thing though I wouldn’t of minded is maybe a bit more range if products, but that’s just me trying to pick faults! This is just due to most of my products being skincare. I’m so happy with this bag this week!

The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask Review

Hello beauties! I hope you are all good. So I’ve had this mask in my draw for a few months from one of my many The Body Shop Hauls and only recently got around to using it. I actually got this as a free gift from The Body Shop because I took out one of their loyalty cards.

image

This cleansing mask for all skin types warms on contact with wet skin. It leaves skin clean and revitalised.

Application
Use after cleansing and toning. Wet skin and apply a generous layer to the face, avoiding the lip and eye areas. Leave for five minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Use once or twice weekly after cleansing.

Review
This clay mask is very thick and heats up as soon as your start massaging it into your wet face. The heat is a lovely sensation, even on those warmer summer nights! Just think how awesome it would be in the winter! Reminder to myself, buy some more for the winter if I run out!

image

The heat doesn’t last forever and cools down after a while. The mask doesn’t drys, which I prefer because I find its harder to remove masks when they dry to your skin, and sometimes leaves me with dry patches!
After five minutes I removed it with warm water. It removes so easily, as I had expected. My skin felt fresh and cleansed after. The only downside is that it did dry out my nose a little bit, which is a bit dissapoining. I know this mask isn’t made to keep your skin hydrated, but it certainly made my skin feel cleansed.

Conclusion
I wouldn’t advise using this if you have very dry skin, as it would dry it out even more. For my oily bit it complete stripped the oil from my skin. So if you have combination skin like myself, make sure you have a good moisturiser to use after for those pesky dry areas! I used The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask after because it’s quick to use so didn’t take up too much time using another mask.

Check out this mask on The Body Shop website HERE

Have you used this mask? What did you think? Let me know!

Birchbox June First Impressions

Hello beauties! I hope you are all well. I’ve been spending alot of time in the garden lately trying to strip some Street that my neighbour has took down. My garden is full of fallen trees! Such a nightmare. I’m constantly aching all over. Don’t even hurt this much when I go to the gym! But that’s enoug about me..

image

It’s officially the start of summer! This theme is all about ‘Stepping Outside’  for the great British summer. Summer is all about garden parties, BBQs, picnics and festivals! So lets get onto what I received…

English Laundry No 7 For Her

image

Long known for his line of men’s scents, Christopher Wick of English Laundry tweaked his No. 7 blend just for the ladies. Bright and fruity, the result is both flirty and fun, grounded with alluring hints of masculine musk.

I’m not much of a fan of perfume samples. They kinda just get chucked into a draw and never seen again. I always say I’m gonna put them in my bag to use in the day, but I never do! This is a very strong bold musky smell which I wouldn’t usually pick for myself to be honest.

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes

image

Packed with green superfoods they naturally exfoliate, detoxify, and rejuvenate all-in-one. Stay gorgeous, and go from zero to clean in seconds. Yes To Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Soothing Facial wipes gently remove dirt, sweat and makeup (eye makeup too!) without the need to rinse.

More facial Wipes! I got some in the latest Glossybox too. Typical festival time item to have in these beauty boxes always going to be handy. This is a sample pack of 10. A full 30 pack is just £3.99

Cowshed Body Lotion Knackered Cow

image

When you’re burnt out, struggling to concentrate and longing for that extra hour in bed, fast-track to relaxation using our Knackered Cow range. Featuring a herbaceous blend of Lavender to calm and Eucalyptus to clarify and uplift, our Body Lotion also uses the finest quality Shea and Cocoa Butters to moisturise and tone the skin.

This is my favourite item by far. I love Cowshed. This is exactly what I need I’m defiantly knackered from all this gardening lately! And I haven’t even made a dent! I’m gonna enjoy using this is it does relax me. This is a very creamy fast absorbing cream and i can’t wait to try it! This is a decent 100ml sample bottle. Full size is 300ml worth £20

Beauty Protector Protect & Oil

image

So many beauty products focus on making your look good, but don’t protect from damage. Enter Beauty Protector, whose range consists of super caring must-haves that really protect! This lightweight sweetly scented hair oil shields against UV rays and heat damage. Even better, hair never feels heavy or stiff after using it and it works on all hair types.

I’m always happy to see anything I can use on my hair which will make it look and feel healthier. I’m obsessed with oils so this was a great product for me to get. Although it’s only two small bottles of oil, the full size 118ml bottle is only £16 so if I like it it won’t break the bank!

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss In Angel Kiss

image

NEW Mirenesse Glossy Kiss  is a 3 in 1 colour created with BB Mineral Technology  Glossy Kiss takes Lip Colour to a new level, delivering a high dose of colour and shine in just one swipe; with the precision of a liner, the moisture of a balm, the shine of a gloss and the staying power of a stain all-in-one!

The description of this lipstick certainly is exciting and I hope it is true to its word, because if it is it’s gonna be amazing! It’s a lovely brown which is great because I’m trying to stay away from reds and I have too many! Great for everyday wear. This is a 1.5g sample size which is still a decent sample size! Only half the full size which is 3g for £17.50

STYLondon Temporary Metallic Tattoos Beauty Bonus

image

There’s quite a bit of overlap between the times we’d like to rock some extra sparkle and the times we’re most likely to damage a necklace or lose an earring back: at a music festival, during an all-night party, or enjoying some sun on that tropical vacation. These metallic temporary tattoos let us add some extra shine to our look – without the risk of losing an heirloom on the dance floor or tarnishing our favourite necklace at the pool.

I dunno what it is about temporary tattoos, but they seem to be everywhere lately, which I hate! They are just so tacky! But at least they are an beauty bonus in Birchbox and not one of the products you get like my last Glossybox! How cheap… These won’t be used.. I also got a shoe bag which I totally forgot to photograph. But it’s pretty much just a bag you put your shoes in so I didn’t think you were gonna be missing anything..

I’m really happy with this box. I’ll use 4 out of 5 products definitely, and I might get around to using the 1 which is the perfume sample at some point. So glad the fake tattoos were an added bonus in this box. I think that’s what gives Birchbox the edge this month. And at least theirs was a brand name and not what Glossybox knocked out! These is an awesome mix of products in this box from make up, hair, skincare and perfume. I dislike it when most the items are in the same category.. Makes it harder to get through all these samples!

Glossybox Flash Tattoos

image

We’re always working to ensure our glossies are a step ahead when it comes to trends, so we’ve designed these exclusive faux tattoos. Make like the A-Listers and wear them stacked around your wrist with a few bangles, or apple them somewhere different such as above the ankle.

To be honest I think these are a bit naff and something I would of worn as a child! Probably end up in the bin!

Halo Fragrances Free Facial Wipes

image

Fragrance Free Facial Wipes are formulated to gently cleanse your skin removing any make-up, including waterproof mascara. Suitable for sensitive skin, with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to help leave your skin feeling cleansed and moisturised.

I’ve used Halo Wipes before. Mostly when I go to festivals because they do ones specially for your body which is always handy when your not gonna shower for a while! These will come in handy when I run out of face wipes. This is a full sized 10 wipe pack worth £1.20

Kueshi Anticellulite Booster

image

The combination of natural ingredients work together to help to stimulate the bloods circulation which in turn protect and reinforce the linings of our veins. The added antioxidant agents also fights against the signs of ageing.

I’m always up for trying out product that will help me tone and reduce cellulite. No one wants cellulite! Although I am always quite sceptical about products like this, as long as you combine it with the gym you might see results. It soaks into your skin really quickly which is great as I hate waiting around for creams to dry! This is a full sized 150ml tube worth £14.55

Essence The Gel Nail Polish

image

Meet our latest nail obsession. This innovative nail polish has a long lasting get formula, for an amazing shiny manicure that endures all week.

I actually have some essence nail polish in my collection I haven’t tried out yet. You can find it in Wilkinsons in the UK and I stumbled across it and brought a few products! It’s a German brand, I now this because I got some of their products in my beauty swap with Reify who is from Germany! The shade I received is called Ever Young which is a very girly warm pink. Not a colour I would of picked for myself, but I’ll still probably wear it! This is a full sized 8ml bottle worth £1.71

So I’m pretty pleased with this box! Except for the faux tattoos of course! I wouldn’t of minded if it was an added extra obviously, but as one of my 5 I’m not too pleased. Regardless, my box is worth around £30 which is great.

If you’re interested in subscribing to glossybox if you could use my referal link I get 200 glossybox points for every referal!

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Brightening Foundation Review

Hello beauties! I hope you’re all doing well. So I recently did a Benefit Haul which I picked up some great products, but I’m going to be talking about their Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Brightening Foundation.

image

Our new oil-free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural complexion you can believe in. It’s you…just more luminous & healthy looking.

Review
This is completely different from my Mac Studio Fix Fluid that I’ve been using for quite a few months. It’s alot thinner in consistency and is more of a medium coverage foundation. When i first applied it to my hand, I was very surprised at how runny it was. The Mac foundation is quite thick which is great for a full coverage, but I’ve noticed how radiant my skin looks when I’ve applied it from having a medium coverage rather then a flat fuller coverage. This is great because it doesn’t look cakey in the slightest. Obviously if you do cake it on, it’s going to look cakey, but I’ve always been told, less is more!
It’s actually turned me from using foundation everyday to just pop out, but to try out a BB cream I haven’t worn for ages because I’m so used to a full coverage. I brought that BB cream ages ago and I just couldn’t bare my face without a full coverage, so it’s actually brought out my confidence a bit, thanks benefit! Because of this, my foundation Is gonna last even longer then usual! While I’m on the subject of it lasting ages, this foundation does last all day at work. Even now it’s getting a bit warmer, I only need to touch up on my dinner breaks at work, mostly due to my vanity! But i did need a touch up of powder on my more oilier areas.
The bottle is great too. It pushes out every last drop of the foundation so you aren’t left with product on the side of the bottle and you can’t get to it! I hate nothing more then having  to throw a bottle away when I can still see product on the sides. I’ve noticed that I’ve had alot less break outs since using this. It might be down to not having a fuller coverage so my skin can breath better… Or it could be a number of other things!
This foundation blends very well and covers my blemishes very well, although I don’t have many blemishes, I think for anyone with bad achey it might be a different story. It evens out my skin tone while giving me a natural glow, but not an orange glow thankfully! My natural skin just shines through. It feels like a second skin and sometimes I forget I have it on! I love how this foundation is dewy nor matte. I’m so used to matte which can dry out parts of my face, it’s a nice change!

Conclusion
Although I’ll always go back to my Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation for nights out or special occasions when I require a fuller coverage, this will be a great everyday foundation for me. The only downside I see is that they only do 9 shades. Brands these days like Mac offer so many shades for that perfect match, I think other brands need to do the same! Although my match was great, I think they could definitely cater for a wider audience! This foundation is £24.50 for a 30ml bottle which is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it.

Have you tried this foundation? What did you think? Any other foundations you recommend me trying? Let me know!

Birchbox May First Impressions

Hello beauties! I hope you’re all good. This weekend I went to the Birmingham Foodies Festival. All the food was amazing, it was such a good day. If the festival is coming anywhere near you, I highly recommend it!

image

This month Birchbox have had a bit of a make over. They have announced their editorial theme ‘Free Your Mind’ they have a new booklet which tells you about your products, some tutorials, competitions, new on Pick Your Sample and more! So lets get onto what I received, and what I didn’t receive also!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser in Light

image

As skincare obsessives, there’s nothing we love more than a moisturiser with added benefits so when we heard that Caudalie had created an innovative new product combining our beloved Vinoperfect range with a little complexion coverage we were sold. The ultimate ‘all-in-one’ product, this oil-free formula not covers imperfections but cares for your skin day after day: dark spots will fade, you skin’s natural radiance will shine, and you complexion will never have looked more even!

image

Tinted moisturisers isn’t something i tend to use alot, as I like to have a medium to full coverage. It has a great applicator though which I’ve pictured above. Makes it easier to get the right amount out of the tube instead of having a massive blob which your not gonna use. The cream is quite thick, but soaks into your skin quite quickly. Smells quite nice too! Might have to try this for when I go to the gym. This is a 15ml sample. Full size is 40ml worth £27.

Wah London Nail Polish in Dry Throat

image

Demure neutrals are manicure must-haves, but for a much-needed mani shake-up, try these eye-catching polishes from WAH London, Beyond the gorgeous hues, the long-lasting formula glides on super smoothly for an ultra glossy finish and acts as the perfect starting point to our nail art adventures.

I’ve actually never heard of this brand before which is great as this is the reason I subscribe to these boxes! You might be thinking… Why is it called dry throat? It was named Dry Throat after a trip to Morocco where the designer saw desert sands everywhere. This ochre colour takes its inspiration from North Africa and the colour of dry land. It’s a lovely colour and the brush looks great. Can’t wait to try it out! This is a full sized 6.5ml polish worth £9

Parlor by Jeff Chastain Moisturising Sea Salt Spray

image

Beach hair is no longer reserved for long weekends. Bottling the effects of that salty air, this spray from NYC stylist Jeff Chastain offers instant volume and a tousled texture. Sweet almond extract infuses strands with softness, fullness, and brilliance, while vitamin-rich algae extract nourishes and protects the scalp. Adding to this spray’s addictive nature is the scent of ripe peach, fresh-cut grass, and white woods. All products from the line are safe for colour-treated hair and are free of sulfates, parabens, and gluten.

The first thing I like is that it’s safe for colour treated hair because i have coloured blonde hair! I’m curious about how moisturising it is because of bleaching my hair, it obviously is quite dry! I’m looking forward to trying this one out! This is a 30ml bottle, full size is 147ml worth £17

Absolution Youth Activator Mask

image

Wonderful things can happen when you combine effective ingredients and beautiful design. Example A is for Absolution. Certified organic, this unisex line of skincare products is an easily combined range that can be adjusted to suit the needs of your skin on any particular day. Absolution Youth Activator Mask is an intense moisturising treatment that replenishes the skin’s water and restores its natural barrier, containing young alfalfa shoot extract, which rich in proteins, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Skin will appear more radiant, smooth and plump.

Now the weather is getting drier my skin is starting to get patchy again, so this is going to be really useful for me. The moisture is rather watery and smells quite odd, but it’s not a leave on moisturiser so the smell doesn’t stay around. This is a 15ml sample size.  Full size is 50ml worth £29

I was supposed to have a Jelly Pong Pong Bronzer too but unfortunately that was missing. I’m not one for bronzing anyway so it’s not like it will be missed! Overall I think this is an okay box. We have a wide range of products which is good. I hate just getting skin care products in boxes which you find with some subscriptions.

If you’re interested in subscribing to Birchbox, use my referral link and each of our accounts will be credited with £5 to use in the birchbox shop!

My first benefit counter experience + Haul

Hello beauties! I hope you are all well. I’ve never been one to go to make up counters and ask for help, but after my Mac Counter experience (which you can read about here!), I thought I would post about another experience of mine! So Saturday I went shopping to find a new foundation to use. I’ve been using Mac Studio Fix Fluid which I have been loving, but alas I have gotten a bit bored! So I popped down to boots with a fresh face, armed with my advantage card (triple points, yay!) and was a free agent. I didn’t have a particular make I wanted to try out to be honest, just one I’ve never tried before, foundation wise.. I had a mooch around and waited for someone to approach me. I wanted to try out some smashbox because I haven’t got any of their products in my collection, but the woman was busy with another customer.

I walked to the benefit counter where I was greeted by a lovely girl asking me if I needed any help. She sat me down and asked me what I wanted from my foundation, which was something easily buildable for nights out, nothing too cakey and a perfect match for my pale mush. But before applying my Make Up, she asked if it was alright if she removed my Make Up, which I replied that I wasn’t wearing any (except for some mascara, penciled in eyebrows and few blemishes covered up.. that doesn’t count as make up though, that’s a necessity!) she was so shocked at how amazing my skin was, which I disagreed with. My head was telling me that she was just saying this to pile me with compliments so I would buy off of her… But anyway.

She cleansed my face with their Remove It Make Up Remover which smell beautiful. After she cleansed my face she applied their Triple Performing Facial Emulsion to my face. This moisturiser hydrates, protects & comforts the skin with an oil-free, lightweight formula. She applied it to half of my face and and gave me the mirror to show the difference. To my dismay, my rosey cheeks that were burning up cause of it being a bit warm in the store had calmed down, well the one side she had applied it to had anyway. Not sure that’s because of the moisturiser or a coincidence… But I might have to purchase some of that to find out for myself!

image

After she had applied the moisturiser to the other half of my face she started to ask me about primers. I told her I was currently using Mac Prep + Prime (review coming soon!) she then pulled out the UKs number one selling primer The POREfessional. I’ve used this primer before and told her how much I loved it when I used it, but she still felt the need to prove to me how good it was. She took my hand and asked me to part my index finger a thumb to stretch out the skin between those two fingers. She applied it to my skin where it is quite creased and showed me how it fills in the lines. I was quite impressed to be honest.

She applied the primer to my nose and chin because that’s all I needed aparently. I thought a little under my eyes could of helped out those fine lines, but I felt her to it. So after all that prep, it was finally on to the product i actually came in for, the foundation.

image

She pointed me towards their Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Brightening Foundation. This new oil-free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural complexion. The bottle is pretty awesome too cause it gets every last drop of foundation out of the tube. I hate when you have finished a foundation off but you have loads of excess foundation you can’t get your hands on! This is similar design to No7 foundations. It’s also 25 SPF which is great for me because as soon as I see sun I’m burnt. We together chose ivory as my shade and she applied my foundation while having a chat about my plans for the bank holiday.  She finished my foundation off and showed me how it looked. I’m used to a full coverage because I’m quite conscious of my freckles and blotchy skin, but my face actually looked brighter and fresher! I was shocked my skin could look this good without a full coverage. I asked if it was easily buildable to a full coverage and she said it was. She asked me if I wanted her to apply more, but i was overjoyed with my new glowing look. Full review is available here!

image

So after I stopped starring in the mirror, she stated talking to me about powders. I told her I was currently using Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder and that it had been a staple in my makeup bag for a long time. She introduced me to Hello Flawless Pressed Powder and I immediately fell in love with the packaging. The one thing that I always thought would make the rimmel Pressed Powder better was for it to be portable with a mirror. This is just the thing I needed for on the go touch ups. This silky powder cover-up glides on naturally sheer and layers beautifully for customised coverage with SPF protection.

image

image

image

It also has a sponge and brush underneath the powder which just flips up and a handy little mirror. Benefits packaging always gets me excited. Even the box it comes in I love! She picked the powder that matched my foundation and applied it on my forehead, most and chin, which are my oiliest spots on my nose.

So after applying the Pressed Powder she asked me if I wanted to look at some of their blushers, bronzes and concealers which I declined as I’m pretty happy with what I have at the moment. There wasn’t any pressure at all to buy everything she had used on me, but she politely asked if I was interested in any of the products she had used today. That’s my fear of going to a make up counter and the people forcing me to buy their products cause she’s used it. Not that has ever happened, but it’s always in the back of your head. I hate those pressure pitches.. Puts me right off. After looking at all the products she had used I picked the foundation, primer and powder!

image

I was impressed with the woman’s knowledge of her products and how polite she was. She never let there be any awkward silences between us which I loved as I’m rubbish at small talk! Overall a lovely experience, and I came away with some lovely products.

All together my purchased came to £76.50 which is more then I intended to buy and spend! But I’m happy to have a compact power and another primer! Let me know your experiences with makeup counters!
